Sikh Youth Voice at California's Capitol
UJALA - Sikh Voices @ Capitol is a new Sikh leadership program aimed at collegiate, grad students, law students, medical students or early career that are interested in policy, advocacy, and civic engagement. Whether you want to learn about the politics of health or the humanities, patronage or community power, this 3-day program is aimed at forging networks, relationships, and the skills for successful community connection and policy advocacy. Register now as space is extremely limited. For those that already engaged in their collegiate campus leadership - have run for office, etc. - your fees will be waived. Are you someone who has worked directly with domestic violence victims/survivors? You are cordially invited to participate in a vital town hall discussion focusing on domestic violence within our community. This event aims to bring together community members, advocates, and professionals to address the critical issue of domestic violence and its impact on our community, understand the current landscape of resources available, and build upon them. 1984 5K Walk and Health Fair
